Susanna Velarde Covarrubias is a poet, playwright, and performer inhabiting the crossroads of healing, alchemy, and the arts. She earned an MFA in Creative Writing from Rutgers–Newark, and her work has been featured throughout the U.S., México, including on Hush Lit and on PBS and NPR. A certified Embodied Imagination® Practitioner, she guides clients into the depths of the imaginal realm to awaken personal and creative transformation through somatic dreamwork. Her specialized workshops promote liminal, decolonized approaches to creativity—drawing from depth and Indigenous psychologies, applied theatre, alchemy, dream, and myth. She teaches nationally, internationally, and beyond…at the thresholds, where the veil is thinnest.
